Lab manger / 3-years PostDoc position in Computational Neuropsychiatry and Cognitive Neuroscience at Hadassah Hebrew University Medical School
The Computational Neuropsychiatry Lab at the Hebrew University’s School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem invites applications for a lab-manager / 3-years postdoctoral position in brain network modeling and analysis. We seek candidates with strong research backgrounds in functional MRI analysis (including classification methods) and network modeling. Knowledge in machine learning is an advantage. This position is an exciting opportunity to lead significant work on cutting edge research of extended memory (memory, navigation, future prospection, orientation) in healthy subjects and patients with Alzheimer’s disease and dissociative disorders using computational analysis of multimodal (fMRI, PET, EEG) brain imaging techniques. The successful candidate is expected to lead a group of PhD students on several research projects. The candidate will have access to state-of-the-art brain imaging and computational facilities, as well as patients with acute and chronic disorders in the emergency room, clinics and wards of the Hadassah Medical Center. Strong programming skills and previous experience with fMRI analysis are desirable.
Candidates are requested to email a CV, statement of research interests and relevant background, and names of three referees to Shahar Arzy (shahar dot arzy at ekmd.huji.ac.il).

Postdoc position available at the Rivlin lab in the Weizmann neurobiology department
Massive work was done to decipher the neural code of the visual information at the retina level. How do retinal targets integrate and process the retinal output is still an unsolved question.
The aim of the project is to reveal how visual information is processed along the main visual pathway. For that, advanced in vivo imaging techniques will be used in combination with retinal manipulations using pharmacogenetics and other methods.
Computational/engineering background and programming experience are preferable.
Experience with two-photon imaging is an advantage.
Good social skills and a sense of humor are a must.
Interested candidates with proven academic record are requested to send their CV and contact details of 3 referees to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
